About Your Teacher

I created this retreat while experiencing peri-menopause myself, recognising how much our needs change during this stage of life - physically, emotionally and energetically.

My approach combines yoga, nervous system awareness and embodied movement to help women feel strong, supported and at home in their bodies again.

You’ll be guided not only through professional training and experience, but through genuine understanding and shared journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve never done yoga before - is that OK?

Absolutely. All practices are accessible and supportive, with options offered throughout. The focus is on connection and embodiment rather than performance or flexibility.

Is this suitable if I’m going through menopause or midlife changes?
Yes - this retreat is designed to support you through midlife and beyond, in a gentle and empowering way.

Is the retreat very intense or physically demanding?

No. The weekend is designed to build strength, confidence and resilience while respecting changing energy levels. Sessions are supportive and adaptable, allowing you to participate in a way that feels right for your body.

Can I come on my own?

Yes - and many women do. The retreat is intentionally created to feel welcoming and inclusive, and shared experience often leads to meaningful connection and community.

What if I feel nervous about the sauna or ice bath?

Participation is always optional. You’ll be gently guided and supported, and you can choose what feels comfortable for you. Many women discover these experiences help build confidence and emotional resilience, but there is never any pressure.

Will there be downtime?

Yes. Alongside scheduled sessions, there is space to rest, walk, journal, or book an optional massage. The weekend balances activity with time to integrate and recharge.

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothing for movement, swimwear for sauna and ice bath, walking shoes, warm layers and anything that helps you feel relaxed. A journal is lovely but optional.

I’m not sure if this retreat is right for me - how do I decide?

If you feel called to reconnect with your body, explore movement differently, or spend time with women navigating a similar life stage, this retreat is likely for you. You don’t need to have everything figured out - just curiosity and openness.
