Yoga for Menopause Weekend Retreat
4 - 6th September 2026 - Gambledown Farm, Hampshire
Menopause is not an ending - it’s a powerful transition that asks us to relate to our bodies differently.
This weekend retreat is designed to support women at any stage of menopause - peri, menopause or post-menopause - through movement, connection and shared experience.
Through yoga, nature, heat and cold therapy, sound healing and free movement, we will explore practices that support energy, balance and confidence during this phase of life.
No previous yoga experience is needed. You are welcome exactly as you are.
As someone moving through menopause myself, I created the retreat I wished existed - a space to rest, reconnect with your strength, build resilience and feel empowered in my changing body.
What Makes This Retreat Different?
This is not about slowing down or stepping back.
It’s about learning how to move with your body - not against it.
You’ll explore practices that help you:
Rebuild strength and body trust
Support your nervous system through change
Improve energy and resilience
Feel grounded and confident again
Connect with other women sharing a similar journey
Guided with understanding, warmth and lived experience, the weekend blends nourishment with empowerment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be fully menopausal to attend?
Not at all. This retreat welcomes women at any stage of the menopause journey - peri-menopause, menopause or post-menopause. You may already have symptoms, be newly experiencing changes, or simply feel your body shifting. All are welcome.
I’ve never done yoga before - is that OK?
Absolutely. All practices are accessible and supportive, with options offered throughout. The focus is on connection and embodiment rather than performance or flexibility.
Is the retreat very intense or physically demanding?
No. The weekend is designed to build strength, confidence and resilience while respecting changing energy levels. Sessions are supportive and adaptable, allowing you to participate in a way that feels right for your body.
Can I come on my own?
Yes - and many women do. The retreat is intentionally created to feel welcoming and inclusive, and shared experience often leads to meaningful connection and community.
What if I feel nervous about the sauna or ice bath?
Participation is always optional. You’ll be gently guided and supported, and you can choose what feels comfortable for you. Many women discover these experiences help build confidence and emotional resilience, but there is never any pressure.
Will there be downtime?
Yes. Alongside scheduled sessions, there is space to rest, walk, journal, or book an optional massage. The weekend balances activity with time to integrate and recharge.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothing for movement, swimwear for sauna and ice bath, walking shoes, warm layers and anything that helps you feel relaxed. A journal is lovely but optional.
I’m not sure if this retreat is right for me - how do I decide?
If you feel called to reconnect with your body, explore movement differently, or spend time with women navigating a similar life stage, this retreat is likely for you. You don’t need to have everything figured out - just curiosity and openness.
